Product Policies

These policies explain the general process for quotations, orders, delivery, installation, warranty and support. Your written quotation or invoice contains the terms specific to your project.

Last updated: 27 September 2026

1. Catalogue and product selection

Product images and descriptions are intended to help with initial selection. Final specifications, dimensions, colour, finish, upholstery, weight stacks, accessories, foundations, clearances and installation requirements must be confirmed in the written quotation.

Beacon Industries manufactures a broad range of indoor, outdoor and playground equipment and also selects and supplies certain cardio and complementary products. For selected supplied products, model availability and original manufacturer terms may apply.

2. Quotations and pricing

A quotation is valid only for the period stated on it. Prices may depend on quantity, configuration, raw-material costs, taxes, transport, unloading, civil work and installation scope. Unless expressly included, site preparation, electrical work, flooring, foundations, permits, lifting equipment and local approvals are the customer’s responsibility.

3. Order confirmation and changes

An order is confirmed when Beacon Industries accepts the customer’s purchase terms in writing and receives any agreed advance payment. Production, procurement or dispatch schedules begin after required specifications, site information and commercial terms are confirmed.

Changes or cancellations requested after confirmation may affect price, lead time and recoverable costs, particularly for custom-made, configured, branded or specially procured equipment. Any change is effective only when accepted in writing.

4. Delivery and site readiness

Delivery dates are good-faith estimates unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise. Customers must provide accurate access details and a safe, ready site, including suitable entry routes, floor or foundation condition, power supply where required, permissions and a responsible contact person.

Waiting time, re-delivery, storage, special handling or additional work caused by an inaccessible or unprepared site may be chargeable after notice.

5. Inspection and transit issues

Please inspect packages and equipment at delivery. Visible shortage, incorrect items or transit damage should be recorded on the delivery document and reported promptly with photographs and order details. Do not install or use equipment that appears unsafe or materially damaged until guidance is received.

6. Installation and safe use

Installation is included only when stated in the quotation. Equipment must be assembled, anchored, spaced and maintained according to the applicable instructions and site conditions. Outdoor and playground projects may require customer-provided civil foundations, curing time, drainage, impact surfacing, safety zones and periodic inspections.

Owners and operators are responsible for appropriate supervision, user instructions, routine checks and taking damaged equipment out of service.

7. Warranty and service

Warranty scope and duration are stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, warranty document or original manufacturer documentation. Warranty support normally requires proof of purchase, product identification and reasonable access for inspection.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, warranty does not cover ordinary wear, consumable parts, cosmetic variation, corrosion caused by unsuitable conditions, unauthorised alteration or repair, improper installation by others, misuse, overloading, accident, neglect, inadequate maintenance or damage from utilities, civil works, weather or external events.

8. Returns and cancellations

Because much of the range is made, finished, configured or procured for a specific order, products cannot be returned merely because requirements change after confirmation. Any proposed return requires prior written authorisation and is assessed against product condition, customisation, hygiene, transport and restocking considerations, as well as applicable law.

This policy does not limit remedies that must be provided for verified defects, incorrect supply or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Which terms take priority

If these general policies differ from a quotation, accepted purchase order, invoice, warranty document or signed agreement, the more specific written commercial document applies to that order. Mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
